How to Change Habits: 3 Steps
Have a habit that you’d like to change? Try these three steps:
1. Notice your habit, in a non-judgemental way. Awareness can help loosen old patterns.
2. Identify and practice new positive habits. What would you rather do instead?
3. Find better ways of meeting the needs your old habits met. Rather than fighting the old habit, see the benefits in it, but find more sustainable ways of meeting them.
